Requirements and Instructions for Tajikistan Visas
Entry/Exit Requirements
"A passport and visa are required to enter Tajikistan, as well
as for registration at hotels. Failure to produce a valid visa will
require the traveler to leave the country immediately. Travelers
planning to arrive in Tajikistan from countries that have Tajik
embassies or consulates must obtain Tajik visas abroad prior to
their travel.
Travelers staying in Tajikistan three days or longer must, within
three days of arrival in Tajikistan, obtain registration stamps
at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) or the Ministry of Internal
Affairs (OVIR), depending on whether the purpose of the visit to
Tajikistan is for official or personal travel. Immigration authorities
may deny the departure of travelers who failed to register their
visas until they pay a fine and obtain the registration stamps at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or OVIR." - US State Dept

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit two (2) identical passport
photographs. These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos,
CVS or similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.
1.3
Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Hotel Confirmation
Applicant must submit hotel confirmation or
letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Tajikistan.
1.5
Invitation
Tourist
Visas
Tourist applicants must submit
a personal letter addressed to the embassy stating the
purpose of their travel.
Business
Visas
Business visa applications
must submit a letter of invitation from the host company
approved by the Foriegn Ministry.
1.6
Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
