Requirements and Instructions for Saudi Arabia Visas
Entry/Exit Requirements
"A passport valid for at least six months and a visa are required
for entry. Visas are issued for business and work, to visit close
relatives, and for transit and religious visits. Visas for tourism
are issued only for approved tour groups following organized itineraries.
Airport and seaport visas are not available. All visas require a
sponsor, can take several months to process, and must be obtained
prior to arrival. In the past, American citizens have reported they
were refused a Saudi visa because their passports reflected travel
to Israel or indicated they were born in Israel , although this
has not happened recently.
Women visitors and residents are required to be met by their sponsor
upon arrival. Women traveling alone, who are not met by sponsors,
have experienced delays before being allowed to enter the country
or to continue on other flights." - US State Dept

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit two (2) identical passport
photographs. These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos,
CVS or similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.

Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Invitation (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit an application from the
sponsor in Saudi Arabia on the applicant's behalf to the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, or an original letter of invitation from
the company in Saudi Arabia.
The letter must be signed and sealed by the company and stamped
by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce.
Applicant must submit the original letter with application.
For businesswomen, the invitation must come from the Saudi
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
Applicant must complete online pre-application
registration by following link below.
Prior to submitting the application page of the online registration,
please print the filled out page to include with your other
documents.
At the bottom of the page under "Overseas Visa Services"
click on "Visiting Visa Request from Embassies and
Consulates abroad."
Specify what type of visa you are applying for. Business
visa applicants must choose "Commercial Visa"
- even though there is an option for "Business Visa".
Write the request confirmation number on the application
form printed out.
