Requirements and Instructions for Kazakhstan Visas
Entry/Exit Requirements
"A valid passport and visa are required. As of February 2004,
an invitation is no longer required for single-entry business and
tourist visas, but multiple-entry visas require an invitation from
an individual or organizational sponsor in Kazakhstan
Registration of American passports is conducted at the same time
as the issuance of the visa in one of Kazakhstan ’s embassies
and consulates abroad or at the time of a border crossing. Americans
are not required to register in Kazakhstan upon arrival at a local
office of the Department of Migration Police. All registrations
are valid for three months, regardless of where they are issued."

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit one (1) identical passport
photographs. These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos,
CVS or similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.

Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Hotel Confirmation
Applicant must submit hotel confirmation or
letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Kazakhstan.
1.5
Health Requirement
Applicant must submit an International Certificate
of Vaccination for Yellow Fever (except for minors age under
1 year).
1.6
Bank Statement
Applicant must submit a bank statement indicating
that the applicant has sufficient funds to sustain them while
they are in Kazakhstan.
Bank statement may consist of either a print out of your
statement (online statements are acceptable) or a letter from
the bank giving the balance, signed by an employee of the
bank on the bank's letterhead.

Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
