Entry/Exit Requirements
"A valid passport and visa are required to enter China and
must be obtained from Chinese Embassies and Consulates before traveling
to China. Americans arriving without valid passports and the appropriate
Chinese visa are not permitted to enter and will be subject to a
fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense. Travelers
should not rely on Chinese host organizations claiming to be able
to arrange a visa upon arrival. Chinese authorities have recently
tightened their visa issuance policy, in some cases requiring personal
interviews of American citizens." - US State Dept

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit one passport photograph.
These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos, CVS or
similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.
1.3
Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Hotel Confirmation
Applicant must submit hotel confirmation showing
the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the
hotel.
NOTE: This can be part of the Proof
of Departure listed as item 1.3 above.
1.5
Invitation (Business applicants
only)
All business visas must be accompanied by an
official invitation from the Chinese Provincial Government.
The invitation must contain a seal from the Economic Trade
Commission / Ministry of Foreign Affairs (this is generally
a red oval seal).
1.6
Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
