Entry/Exit Requirements
"A passport and visa are required. Visas are not routinely
available at the airport. Visitors to Benin should also carry the
WHO Yellow Card (“Carte Jaune”) indicating that they
have been vaccinated for yellow fever." - US State Dept

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit three (3) identical passport
photographs. These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos,
CVS or similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.

Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Health
Requirement
An original copy of the International Certificate
of Vaccination for Yellow Fever must be submitted with your
application to obtain a visa to enter Benin.
1.5
Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
