Requirements and Instructions for Bangladesh Visas
Entry/Exit Requirements
"A passport, visa and onward/return ticket are required. All
travelers to Bangladesh, including American citizens, must have
a valid visa in their valid passport prior to arrival. Although
airport visas (landing permits) are available upon arrival by air,
the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka does not recommend this option for most
categories of travelers as working hours may not coincide with flight
arrival times and precise formalities can vary. Additionally, if
issued, landing permit validity is usually limited to a maximum
of fifteen days." - US State Dept

Visa Requirements
1.1
Current Passport
Applicant must submit their current passport.
NOTE: Passport must have at least
one blank visa page. If you require passport services, select:
Applicant must submit three (3) identical passport
photographs. These may be obtained at many post offices, Kinkos,
CVS or similar locations.
NOTE: If applicant is delivering
documents to our office personally, passport photos can be
taken on-site.

Flight Itinerary
Applicant must submit a computer-generated
itinerary from a travel agency or online booking agency showing
departure from the U.S.
1.4
Business
Cover Letter (Business applicants
only)
Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter
from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration
and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the
example Business Cover Letter below.
