Entry/Exit Requirements
"Citizens and nationals of the United States of America, with
the exception to United States military personnel must have a valid
passport or other travel document for entry. United States military
personnel shall have in their possession official orders or documents
certifying the status of the individual or group. Such orders or
documents shall be shown on request to the appropriate authorities
of the Government concerned. For the purpose of their identification
while in Palau, United States military dependents ten years of age
or older shall have in their possession a personal identification
card authorized by the Government of the United States which shall
show the name, date of birth, status, and photograph of the bearer.
Such card shall be shown on request to the appropriate authorities
of the Government concerned. A passport shall not be considered
valid if it expires in less than six months from date of entry.
A visa is not required for U.S. citizens visiting Palau for one
year or less, provided the visitor otherwise complies with applicable
regulations, for example, on employment. For more information about
