Entry/Exit Requirements
"A passport is required. A visa is not required for tourist
stays of up to ninety (90) days as of May 1, 2004. American citizen
tourists may remain in Hungary for up to ninety days during any
six-month period from the date of first entry. If you plan to reside
or study in Hungary for a period of more than ninety days, a visa
must be obtained from the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary at
3910 Shoemaker Street NW, Washington, DC 20008, telephone (202)

or at the nearest Hungarian Consulate in Los Angeles or New York."
